Sotillo Dolmen

Sotillo Dolmen

Discovered by Domingo Fdz. Medrano in 1955 and excavated in 1963.

It is a megalithic corridor grave. The burial chamber, with an oval floor plan (3.30 mx 2.90 m), is made up of 9 slabs, some of which can be up to 2.20 meters high. The corridor (0.60 m wide and 1.30 m high) is defined by 5 slabs. Around the monument you can see the burial mound made of earth and small stone with a diameter of about 18 meters. The access track to the tumulus cuts part of it.
